Where to stay in Strasbourg for a two-night, car-free trip

Arrival and movement
Make the first transfer easy.
Arrive at Strasbourg-Ville by train, or check the current airport rail connection before committing to a late flight. The station edge and Grande Île can both work on foot; use the tram for longer hops or heavy luggage.

Full day two
Walk the Neustadt and its larger squares in the morning. Use the afternoon for a museum, a boat trip, or the European quarter. Pick one, so the day does not turn into a transit checklist.
Third-night option
Use a separate day for Colmar or another Alsace town only after checking train times and the last return. Rural wine-route stops need an additional transport plan.
